There are different types of gift you can leave to the charity:
- Pecuniary Bequest – A specific amount of money
- Residuary Bequest – A share of what is left of your estate after all other expenses and wishes have been met
- Specific Bequest – Leaving a specific item, such as an antique or piece of jewellery
- Conditional Bequest – A gift which is passed to the charity if the person or persons it was originally intended for passes away
It may be best to draw up a list of your assets before deciding which type of gift you would like to leave to Deaf Direct. You can choose to leave your gift to a specific project of Deaf Direct’s if you wish, however, we do most appreciate gifts which are left to be spent where they are most needed so that we can help people in need as quickly as possible.
