ODCD is a charity serving the diocese of Oxford whose aims are to promote the spiritual, social and general wellbeing of people who are deaf or hard of hearing, and to support a team of chaplains in their work. The Pastoral Finance and Administrative Officer plays a key role in general administration, both with the chaplains and for the Council, and in enabling the work of volunteers, attending meetings as required.

This is a part-time post of 17.5 hours average per week. Salary: £10851.50pa (£21703.00 pa pro-rata). A freelance hourly rate may be separately negotiable.

CHAPLAIN AMONGST DEAF PEOPLE
We seek a licensed person to work mainly within Buckinghamshire and North Oxfordshire to in a pioneering role to develop ministry to the deaf and hard of hearing, and consolidate existing ministry there. This is as part of a team across the Diocese, sharing with experienced Chaplains, who have specific main responsibility for Oxford city centre and also Berkshire and South Oxfordshire. There are two other chaplains in the ODCD team.

The post will attract a 0.5 assistant curate or incumbent stipend (dependent upon experience) and 0.5 housing allowance.
