Age UK Hereford and Localities are currently working with NHS England and the Tinder Foundation to show how people can find out more information and resources relating to their own health and wellbeing using the internet. The NHS Choices website has a wide range of information that covers topics such as symptoms and conditions, medicines, care and support, and healthy eating and exercise, amongst other subjects. Plus, there are a variety of free tools and resources that be utilised.
Age UK Hereford and Localities can show people how to access the NHS Choices website, if they have not used the internet previously, and demonstrate how to use the website and access information, tools and resources. We would also be grateful if people could answer a short questionnaire, which can be answered anonymously, to help NHS England and the Tinder Foundation find out a little more on how people manage their own health and wellbeing.
Please contact Stuart Townsend at Age UK Hereford and Localities if you would like to find out more about this. Telephone 0845 688 1298 (calls are charged at a local rate from most landline numbers) or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
