Jenny Sealey, Graeae Director, Gives a TED talk
|Deaf presenter Jenny Sealey presents TEDx talk about Access To WorkTED is a nonprofit devoted to spreading ideas, usually in the form of short, powerful talks. TED began in 1984 as a conference where Technology, Entertainment and Design converged. Today covers almost all topics — from science to business to global issues — in more than 100 languages. Independently run TEDx events help share ideas in communities around the world.
Jenny Sealey, who co-directed the London 2012 Paralympics Opening Ceremony, is the Artistic Director of Graeae Theatre Company. She presented the talk “Sidelined” on Access to Work and Independent Living Fund cuts, as well as social attitudes to Deaf and Disabled people at a TEDx conference in Exeter.
