How to book
Contact Deaf Direct using request form and return to us or any of the details shown on the Contact us page. Please try to book as far in advance as possible because there is a national shortage of LSPs.
A member of the Communication Services team will complete a booking form. We will ask you to tell us:
- the type of LSP required
- date, time and duration of assignment
- type of assignment and subject matter
- venue address
- your contact details so that we can confirm the booking in writing
If you have any background information, please supply it as this helps the LSP to provide a better service.
Once we have all the information that we need, we will identify an LSP to meet your needs.
If any of our in-house staff are available, the booking will be confirmed immediately. If the in-house staff are busy, we will contact freelance LSPs. Either way, the booking will be confirmed and you will receive written confirmation within 3 to 4 days.
