Frankenstein with BSL interpreter
There will be a British Sign Language interpreted performance of the National Theatre Live’s ‘Frankenstein’ at Pershore Number 8 Community Arts Centre on Thursday 30th October. Come along and celebrate Halloween with this ‘monster hit’ as it returns to cinemas by popular demand. There are still tickets available through the Number 8 website so hopefully we’ll see you there.
Frankenstein enjoyed a sell-out run at the National Theatre in 2011, and went on to win the 2012 Olivier Award for Best Actor for Benedict Cumberbatch and Jonny Lee Miller who alternated the roles of Victor Frankenstein and his creation. In this screening Frankenstein will be played by Benedict Cumberbatch.
Urgent concerns of scientific responsibility, parental neglect, cognitive development and the nature of good and evil are embedded within this thrilling and disturbing classic gothic tale.
