‘Access Denied’ event, 11th December
|On 11th December at St Peter’s Baptist Church in Worcester, Deaf Direct in partnership with Healthwatch Worcestershire is hosting the event, ‘Access Denied’. The event aims to increase equality for Deaf people accessing health and social care services in Worcestershire.
This year marks the 20th anniversary of Communication Services at Deaf Direct. Health and Social Care professionals are invited to join us for this special event, to find out how access to the health service has changed for deaf and hard of hearing people in Worcestershire during this time, and what areas still need improving. Just some of the key focus areas on the day include: local and national issues, case studies of real-life experiences, and results of a recent GP survey by Healthwatch.
To register your attendance, or for more information about this event, please email Diane Gledhill, PA / Communicator to CEO at Deaf Direct, via email@example.com or phone 01905 746301.
