Fundraising is often one of the most difficult tasks for charitable organisations. Here are some of the ways in which you could help Deaf Direct / Oxford Deaf and Hard of Hearing Centre to continue its work with deaf and hard of hearing people:
By making a tax-free gift through Give As You Earn
You can make tax-free gifts deducted in regular amounts from your salary. The amount can be as little or as much as you can afford - details are available from the office upon request.
By making a donation
Whether large or small, individual donations to help us fund our services are always gratefully received and much appreciated.
By hiring our conference & training facilities
Our Hereford / Oxford centres offer a range of rooms and facilities for hire with all proceeds used for charitable purposes. Consider us for your next meeting venue!
By remembering us in your will
By bequeathing a gift in your will you will be making an invaluable contribution to the welfare of deaf and hard of hearing people.
By becoming a fundraiser
You could take on fundraising work - have you got time to organise a sponsored walk or run? A fete stall? Or any other event and donate the proceeds to us?
By adopting us as your company charity
Companies can help Deaf Direct in many ways through donations and adoption as your elected company charity. Many sponsorship opportunities exist and would provide substantial income to Deaf Direct – please contact the office for details.
