Deaf Direct is a charity, registered with the Charity Commission, and a company limited by guarantee, registered with Companies House. As a result we have to submit annual accounts to both organisations.
The accounts comply with the the Charity's Memorandum and Articles of Association and applicable law and have been prepared in accordance with the following accounting policies: the Standard Recommended Practice, "Accounting and Reporting by Charities", issued in March 2005, together with the Financial Reporting Standard for small Entries (effective April 2008) and the Charities Act 1993.
